Frank Kelcz is an international media executive and investor. Currently a Venture Partner at DN Capital, he previously led Media-Technology investments at SEB Venture Capital and establsihed Pitango Venture Capital’s presence in Europe. He also fills his time by advising Collider and acting as an investor & advisor to Chattabl in France. He was consulting for UKTI helping UK startups find US based Venture investors willing to invest in UK based early-stage companies.
In a previous life, Frank was Executive VP Europe for Ziff-Davis (PC Magazine & ZD Net) and assistant to the chairman of Gruner & Jahr (Bertelsmann) in Hamburg, where he created a series of magazines for the US Hispanic market. Prior to that, he launched a series of trade magazines published in 7 language editions.
Frank grew up in New York City, earned a B.Sc., cum laude, from Bowdoin College in Maine and pursued M.B.A. studies at New York University. He is a dual national (USA & UK), multi-lingual (Fr/Ger/It/Sp) and has lived in France, Germany, Italy, Belgium and the UK.
