We believe the UK has a huge opportunity to build the next generation of companies in marketing and advertising that can make a global impact. And that’s where you come in – you have what it takes to help our startups.
You have built great businesses, many of you have exited, and you have the skills that will make real difference to our startups as they scale.
Collider is organizing twice a year mentoring sessions with MadTech Startups so you can make a difference – CEO to CEO. Spend an hour with curated companies and have a lasting impact.
Why You Should Join
You will be in good company – we are only inviting the top tier to a twice yearly event where you will meet promising companies and help them on the way to achieving the success that you have.
You will firstly interact with peers in your industry. This will give you more exposure in the market as a more innovative, connected and in front of what’s latest within your market.
Secondly you will discuss with Startup Co-founders that will most likely not think like you. This will challenge your brain in a healthy exercise which may give you insights for you to succeed even more in your business.
In third place you will mentor a company and be part of its development making a difference and changing its destiny keeping the UK as Global leaders in this market.
If you never mentored before just remember this Chinese Proverb – “The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now.”
Are you up for the challenge?
The Rules of Engagement
Collider is the first startup accelerator to focus on building startups in the Madtech sector.
Our last three cohorts of startups have been helped along the way by our network of investors (many of whom are entrepreneurs in the sector), brands (such as Unilever, The Nationa Lottery and Puma) and agencies (such as Ogilvy & Mather Group UK, Engine Group and DigitasLBi).
This network has helped them to build their brands, shape product, define pricing and get their first trials.
And now we want to turn up the volume and expose the brightest and the best of these startups to additional expertise, so they can compete on a global stage and cement our reputation as the global leaders in marketing and advertising.
David was Director of Global Marketing at Gateway before setting up Chumbo.com, which he sold to AOL in 1999. Good timing, David. He’s Collider’s maverick, the guy who sees stuff that other people just don’t. No, not ghosts. New applications for technologies, new routes to market, new customers – that’s David’s schtick.View profile
